Digitizers / Designed by OKOS
Acquisition Logic, an OKOS brand, designed Industry's first Ultrasonic Digitizers. This product line was enhanced over the years and continues to power our SAM/UT-NDT systems.
Why Use Digitizers?
A Digitizer is a device that converts an input signal into digital information. Digitizers have one or more Sampling Rates which determine how often the input waveform is "sampled". These samples can be used to reconstruct the original waveform as a digital image. The higher the sampling rate, the more accurate the signal reproduction.
More data is generated as the sampling rate is increased, so the lowest sampling rate that can accurately reproduce the original signal will improve throughput. Double the frequency of the transducer is generally used as the minimum rate, as the operator will want to reproduce any results at that frequency. In practice, the digitizer is set to a higher multiple in order to gain more accuracy.

Digitizer AL8xGTE-1
The digitizer AL8xGTE-1 is a single-channel, high speed, 8 bit 1 GS/s PCI Express Digitizer board upporting the PCI Express x1 bus. Onboard memory options range from 512M samples to 4G samples Memory operation allows acquisition to continue while data is being transferred to the PC.
Digitizer AL8xGTE-1.5
The digitizer AL8xGTE-1.5 is a single-channel, high resolution, 8 bit 1.5 GS/s PCI Express Digitizer board upporting the PCI Express x1 bus. Onboard memory options range from 512M samples to 2G samplesMemory operation allows acquisition to continue while data is being transferred to the PC.
Digitizer AL8xGTE-3
The digitizer AL8xGTE-3 is a single-channel, high resolution, 8 bit 3 GS/s PCI Express Digitizer board upporting the PCI Express x1 bus. Onboard memory options range from 512M samples to 2G samples Memory operation allows acquisition to continue while data is being transferred to the PC.
Digitizer AL8250
The AL8250 is a single channel, non simultaneous dual input A/D board for the PCI bus. It is optimized for high-speed transient capture at sampling rates up to 250Msample/sec at very high repetition rates. A large dual-ported onboard buffer memory allows simultaneous transient recording and readout of captured data. A post-processing section can be used to extract peak information on multiple gates while the captured data is transferred over the PCI bus into the PC’s main memory.
Digitizer AL81004C
The digitizer AL81004C (also referred to as AL4108) is a four channel A/D board for the PCI bus and both PCI 32-bit and PCI 64-bit bus compliant. It is optimized for high-speed transient capture at a sampling rate of 100 MSamples/sec at very high repetition rates. A large dual ported onboard buffer memory allows simultaneous transient recording and readout of captured data. A post-processing section can be used to extract peak information on multiple gates while the captured data is transferred over the PCI bus into the PC main memory.
Digitizer AL12250
The AL12250 is a single channel, non simultaneous dual input A/D board for the PCI bus.
